If each of us in the industry here in Australia would introduce JUST ONE new golfer to the game, we could see an incredible increase in participation. Lets do the math - we have around 1500 clubs, and if 25 new players were introduced and played 6 times a year= 225,000 rounds!!!

I just introduced my 4 yr old boy to the game-   he saw me watching some golf awhile back on tele, and showed some interest. Took him to the range and let him use a cut off club I made.

He just loved smacking the ball each time I teed it up-  had to watch my hands though, couple whacks on my knuckles!!  Really had a good time- were going again for Fathers Day- his treat.

How fun-   my son isnt old enough yet to stand- but it wont be to long before he is standing and off to the range.

Let them go at their own pace and be careful not to "over" teach them. Children have pretty natural swings already and alot of years of growing. Let them watch the golf tournaments on TV or take them out to a pro tourney sometime. They will emulate what they see- so your seing may not be best example!!!  lol
