I am interested in feedback from the golfing world.   Is Tiger Woods a bad sport?

Recently in Sydney after the Y E Yang victory radio talk back focussed on Tiger's etiquette while Y.E was playing a few holes.

We all know Tiger is possibly the "best ever" however when it comes to the game of golf he leaves a lot to be desired when he "spits" the dummy or moves off while people are not finished putting out etc etc. Petulance at its best when things are not going well.

Can we have a vote?  Is Tiger a good sport?     Yes / No ?

Tiger is such under the microscope in everything he does. Im sure he is just coming across the wrong way sometimes and we all are very critical about him. BUt then again he is the biggest sports person in the world, so maybe he doesnt think his shit stinks like the rest of us!

There was story recently from the UK talking exactly about the same thing.

Tom Watson left Britain, which he once called the last civilised country in the world, to return to the US last week. The manner of his departure was entirely in keeping with the man, done quietly and without fanfare. He left tens of thousands of new fans behind, won over by the quality of his golf for 71 holes in the Open at Turnberry and his dignity in and after what followed.

Cut and paste the following-

Tiger Woods is a huge situation going on at the moment. I personally feel no matter how he handles it, most of the media and public will not be satisfied. I would most likely hide for a time until things cool off a bit. There is so much media surrounding the area where he lives, that if he blows his nose to loud they will say "we think we heard a bomb."

For me to answer, if he is a true Sportsman, I would have to say yes. But that opens up another question- Are the spectators, True Spectators? Is the Media, a True Media? I personally would say, No.

In this day and age, what is a "True Sportsman.

No matter how big and powerful someone is, they are still just ordinary people and at times need to be treated as such.
