Golf Operations Central helps businesses in the Australian and New Zealand area golf industries improve their operational performance through a variety of support and/or planning services.
Mike Orloff, a US and Australian PGA Member, has marketed and managed golf courses throughout Australia and the USA for the past 22 years for various levels of facilities from two to five stars.
An innovative and experienced operator, Mike was hand-picked by American Golf Corporation, the largest golf management company in the year 2000, to improve the performance of its first Australian courses on the Gold Coast. He then took on a General Manager role for Clubcorp overseeing multiple facilities and assisting in strategic direction.
In the USA, Mike had a track record of managing very efficiently operated facilities while still able to increase revenue, improve service, and subsequently profitability at American Golf’s clubs.
After arriving in Australia, Mike implemented several operational changes at two of the largest golf clubs on the Gold Coast – Robina Woods and Paradise Springs (now Palmer Gold Coast and Palmer Colonial), which saw a significant turnaround to its bottom line performance. In recent years, Mike has taken on several Interim GM roles as part of major overhauls of the golf facility business- with long term sustainability.
Mike has proven results and experience with change managing a business which then have increased market share and made profits for all types of golf clubs and golf-related businesses.
