$200,000 Penalty for Clearing Native Grassland

An investigation by the  Australian Government, Department of the Environment, Water, Heritage and the Arts and the Victorian Governmen found that 0.7 hectares of the critically endangered natural temperate grasslands were destroyed during construction works at an industrial site in Victoria.
