NZ Golf to examine handicapping system

New Zealand Golf is to undertake a nine-month review of the handicapping system.

It's been 13 years since the "new" system was introduced and NZG recently informed the district of the review.

"To give some background and context for the review, the purpose of the handicap system is to make the game of golf more enjoyable by enabling players of differing abilities to compete on an equitable basis," they said in their end-of-February Partner Update.
