ROYAL Pines is proving a happy hunting ground for the Sunland Group which is close to finalising plans for the commercial heart of the resort's marina precinct. A quickfire sales rush on a small-lot project in the resort's eastern stretch has buoyed the Gold Coast developer's prospects on the 'western front' where it has undertaken preliminary works on a 19ha site, including the marina, it bought in 2008.
