Camden Lakeside Golf Club is part of the Wests Leagues Club (Campbelltown) Group which is a progressive group of clubs in Sydney’s South-West, comprising of Western Suburbs League Club Campbelltown, Wests Tennis Club Campbelltown, Country Club Camden Valley and Camden Lakeside Golf Club.

Camden Lakeside Golf Club is a par 72 course and is the only course in Sydney designed by five times British Open Winner Peter Thomson AO CBE. Our golf course has become a popular destination for all levels of golfers, with its links style course.

Reporting to the Golf Operations Manager the focus of this role is to deliver quality customer service to our valued golfers and assist with the daily operations of the Golf Shop. You will create a customer service orientated atmosphere that meets and exceed  the needs of our golf members and guests using your industry knowledge and experience.

• General Pro-shop duties

• Golf bookings and enquiries including booking confirmations, player registration and printing of score cards

• Opening & closing shop

• Assist with shop sales, including golfing equipment and accessories.

• Upkeep and clearing of practice driving range

• Provide food and beverage service on course via the beverage golf cart

• Golf cart maintenance and servicing

• Assist with corporate golf days

• Starting and finalising of competitions and prize allocation

• Must have demonstrated golf pro shop experience and an understanding of the golf industry

• Have a strong commitment to customer service and a passion for golf

• Exceptional personal presentation

• Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills

• Self motivated with a good work ethic

• Display good communication skills – both oral & written

• Have sound computer skills

• Ability to work in a  team environment

• Flexible working hours to work on any day of the week and be available to work opening and closing shifts.

• Current RSA certificate

• Knowledge of MicroPower Golf Program will be a distinct advantage
