Indoor golf simulators to launch Parkwood International’s multi-million dollar facelift
THE first phase of construction is underway at Parkwood International, which will see the existing driving range transform into Gold Coast’s premier indoor golf and entertainment venue – X-Golf Studio.
On Monday February 8 the initial stage of construction began at Parkwood International Golf and Function Complex located on the Gold Coast, Australia, where six state-of-the-art golf simulators will be installed at the end of the month.
The remodeling kicks off a multi-million dollar redevelopment the club is set to undergo this year, associated with the club’s new partnership with local NRL team Gold Coast Titans, and is part of the new premium sports and leisure precinct – Club Parkwood – home of the Aquis Gold Coast Titans.
Managing Director Luke Altschwager said the simulators would be up and running within a month’s time and will enable people to take on some of the world’s greatest courses without leaving the Gold Coast.
“Our new indoor golf centre will allow everyone, from beginners through to pros, to hone their skills on some of the best courses from around the world,” Mr Altschwager said.
“We want people to come here and enjoy a meal, a cold beverage, and great hospitality while being able to play indoor golf with the very latest technology,”
“At a reasonable price you will be able to experience some of the best-known courses on the PGA tour on the world’s most accurate simulators, right here at Parkwood,”
“It’s the perfect inclusion to our new entertainment precinct under the mantra Eat, Drink, Play”.
The Simulators are expected to be fully operational by March 1, and Parkwood International will launch the X-Golf studio with a Pebble Beach Golf Links package offer of $99.00 for a group of four people.
