SEEKING: Experienced full-stack Microsoft Developer – MSL Solutions

MSL Solutions is currently seeking an experienced full-stack Microsoft Developer to work on the MPower suite of golf products including the web-based Micropower Golf Competition and Management systems.

  • Based in North Sydney
  • Permanent Position
  • 3-5 years experience in a professional software development environment
 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Follow best practice software development lifecycle processes including understanding requirements, architecture, design, development, testing, release, and maintenance
  • Communicate with team members regarding projects, development, tools, and procedures
  • Utilise skills in development areas including object oriented programming (C#), databases (SQL Server), MVC web applications (ASP.NET) and WebService

 
REQUIREMENTS

  • Professional Software Development Experience using C#, ASP.NET, SQL Server, TFS or Git, MVC, HTML, jQuery/JavaScript and CSS
  • Extensive experience in C# is essential particularly in web development using ASP.NET and MVC models
  • Experienced in designing and developing WebServices and REST API’s
  • Experience writing and optimizing SQL statements and stored procedures in T-SQL

 

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor degree in Computer Science or equivalent preferred
  • Some skills in Photoshop and proven ability to use advanced HTML & CSS techniques to deliver pixel perfect rendering of complex designs
  • Some experience in front end UI design
  • An otherwise qualified candidate who is also familiar with club golf in Australia or a club golfer with a GA Handicap would be very highly regarded
