SEEKING: Golf Shop Attendant – Twin Waters Golf Club

Twin Waters Golf Club is seeking to appoint a skilled Golf Shop Attendant. This role is a permanent position, and as the Golf Shop Attendant you will be responsible for the effective operation of the Golf Shop and the provision of related golfing services.

Twin Waters Golf Club is consistently ranked in the top courses in Queensland and hosts the national final of the Holden Scramble. Twin Waters Golf Club is an equal opportunity employer.

Reporting to the General Manager, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Provision of outstanding services to members, guests and visitors
  • Answer member queries and advise on golf related queries
  • Merchandising
  • Competition running and finalisation
  • Bookings and Tee sheet management
  • Participate in the promotion and organisation of golfing events and competitions
  • Maintain the cleanliness the Golf Shop
  • Ensure accurate use of systems

 
You will be fully proficient in using POS, EFTPOS and telephone systems and ideally you will have experience using Micropower. You will have sound understanding retail selling approaches, have a sound knowledge of Club competitions and events. Ideally you will have a sound knowledge of golf equipment and course etiquette, golf rules, regulations and handicapping. An understanding of marketing principles and merchandising would be an advantage, and you will possess the capacity to work unsupervised and have excellent communication and presentation skills.

This is a permanent full time position that will involve shifts across a 7-day rotating roster including weekends.
