SEEKING: Marketing & Sales Manager – Monash Country Club

We are a prestigious, group one golf club located on Sydney’s northern beaches.

Our vision “provide the best golf club experience on the North Shore”.

This position has arisen partly due to a team member having left to travel and also due to our increasing membership expansion.

We are looking to appoint a Senior Marketing and Sales Manager who will report directly to the General Manager. You will be an enthusiastic professional who will plan, organise, direct and co-ordinate the sales and marketing activities of the Club through the areas of Membership, Corporate Golf and general functions as well as looking to other opportunities. Specific responsibilities of the role will include, but are not limited to:

  • Accomplishes sales and marketing objectives by planning, developing, implementing and evaluating advertising and promotion programs
  • Formulates and manages marketing budgets
  • Plans and implements advertising and promotion activities including print, online, electronic/social media and direct marketing
  • Creates and reinforces brand awareness
  • Establishes and improves customer loyalty and relationships
  • Reviews and monitors the effectiveness of all marketing initiatives

 
You will be an excellent communicator with strong organisational skills and will have the ability to manage and deliver on stakeholder expectations. You must have the drive and determination to get things done and a service oriented approach to your work.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years management experience in similar sales and marketing role and be familiar with private golf clubs and the service and professional expectations of members and other stakeholders. Experience in private golf clubs would be preferred but is not essential.
