Golf Rewards has kicked off in NZ at GMANZ Conference

There was a lot going on in Wellington last month!

On Saturday the 28th the second rugby test between Australia and NZ was played, and on the following Sunday the 7th Biennial Golf Managers of New Zealand (GMANZ) took place.

The Conference saw the involvement of Australian-based company Golf Rewards as an event sponsor, to coincide with the expansion of their highly successful Golf Passport program into the New Zealand market.

The Conference attracted a number of the country’s renowned sports and business leaders, and Golf Reward’s CEO Jack Naden will present the benefits of the program to the NZ golf industry, including developments within the loyalty market.

Golf Rewards was formed in 2014 to enable the Golf Passport to be developed as a digital program, primarily for the benefit of the company’s corporate clients and marketing partners.

Golf Passport started in 2002 and was produced as a voucher book for the first 12 years. The objective of the program was to enable people to pay to play golf at a variety of courses, which in turn provided a wide range of benefits to associated clubs including an increase in club revenue.

Now Golf Rewards has developed an exciting new program especially for the loyalty market, giving clients the opportunity to leverage the relationship Golf Passport has established with golf clubs to increase member engagement and build brand loyalty.

This new program can assist organisations with membership renewals, give potential members another reason for joining, or provide an opportunity to reactivate lapsed and past members.

Golf Reward is also currently developing other brands within the Group for the benefit of corporate clients including Golf Concierge (organised activities) and Golf Experiences (travel services), plus an exciting new member benefit program exclusively for golf clubs (Golf & More).

“Golf Passport has always been about increasing participation in golf, and these new developments are another important step in that direction. It makes good marketing sense for our clients and brings more business to our associated golf clubs so everyone wins,” Golf Reward’s CEO Jack Naden said.

This year, Golf Rewards has seen an increase in the number of international clients, with new members throughout the Southeast Asia-Pacific region as well as in Australia. This is why Golf Rewards is now extending its network of associated clubs to include New Zealand courses and beyond, to meet the requirements of corporate clients that have relationships with individuals throughout the region, and are seeking local golf solutions.
