Halcyon Tees Up New Gold Coast Project at Gainsborough Greens GC

Developer Halcyon is gearing up to deliver Australia’s first over 50 golf and country club community, after settling the purchase of a major development site on the Gold Coast from Mirvac.

Halcyon will launch a 500+ home community in the coming months after settling its purchase of the Gainsborough Greens Golf Club and adjoining land at Pimpama.

The deal includes a 114ha holding which includes the golf club, 18-hole golf course and 34ha of residential development land.

Halcyon joint Managing Director Bevan Geissmann said settlement paved the way for Halcyon to unveil its masterplan for the site and the name of the project within months.

“There’s nothing else in Australia with all these ingredients and this presents a unique offering to our market,” he said.
