SEEKING: Assistant Director of Golf – Kingston Heath Golf Club

Kingston Heath has consistently been ranked in the top 50 golf courses in the world and has played host to 8 Australian Open Championships, 2 Australian Masters and will host the 2016 World Cup of Golf.

The professional staff in the Club owned Golf Shop manage all matters golf for members guests and international visitors.

The Assistant Director of Golf will play a key role in maintaining the high standard of service to members and guests.

Job tasks and responsibilities:

  • Assist in the daily management of the Golf Shop operations.
  • Supervise and train staff
  • Assume responsibility of Director of Golf as required.
  • Assist the merchandiser as required.
  • Attend Match meetings as required.
  • Produce competition results as required in a timely manner.
  • Assist in the maintenance of update records of knockout and other Club competitions.
  • Pro-actively practice OH & S and participate in meetings as required.
  • Assist in the maintenance of the Club’s website as up to date ensuring all results and posts are made in a timely manner.
  • Demonstrate attention to detail.

 
Skills and experience:

  • Rules – a strong knowledge of the rules of golf and the decisions book.
  • Microsoft – working knowledge of all Office programs.
  • Golf Computer – experience with the mainstream golf management programs including MI-Club.
  • POS – hands on experience with point of sale management
