Andrew Slacks, a former Wallaby captain and Channel Nine sports personality, has joined Golf Queensland’s board of directors.

Chair David Brett said he was excited Andrew had joined the Golf Queensland Board.

“Andrew has a wealth of knowledge in the sporting arena and with a career spanning 28 years’ in sports journalism he is a terrific asset for the organisation,” he said.

“On behalf of the board we welcome Andrew to the team and look forward to a strong year ahead.”

Andrew added “I’m delighted and honoured to be joining the board of Golf Queensland and look forward to helping in whatever way I can to widen the reach of this great game.”

Andrew Slack joins David Brett (chair), David Bell, Judy Logan, Lorraine Matthews, Carmel O’Keeffe, Matthew Toomey and Patrick Twomey on the Board of Golf Queensland.
