The Royal Sydney Golf Club seeks a professionally qualified Archivist for a part time position. Located at Rose Bay NSW, Royal Sydney’s archives contain a comprehensive historical database of the Club from its foundations in 1893.

We need an Archivist to work closely with the Heritage Sub-Committee and management. The Archivist will develop plans and formulate policy on all aspects of archival management, set objectives, review goals and list priorities. The Archivist will plan and manage Royal Sydney archive and perform a range of archival duties.

The Archivist will collect, document, preserve, manage and promote the use of archival content, for use by the membership and management of The Royal Sydney Golf Club.

The Archivist will need to understand and gain knowledge of Royal Sydney’s history and its activities, both past and present.
