Players at the inaugural ISPS HANDA World Super 6 Perth tournament will be chauffeured around town in style thanks to Subaru Australia signing on as the official Motor Vehicle Partner of the exciting new event.

“It is with great pleasure to announce Subaru Australia’s first foray into an international golf sponsorship with ISPS HANDA World Super 6 Perth,” Subaru Australia’s Managing Director, Colin Christie, said.

“In the spirit of the brand, to help Australians ‘do’ more and get more out of life, we are proud of this partnership.”

As part of the agreement, Subaru will also add an extra incentive to competitors on Saturday’s play with the chance to win a Subaru Outback on the 8th hole.

Subaru are also providing the opportunity for fans to take part in VIP golf experiences and enjoy a money-can’t-buy experience to watch some of the world’s best golfers including Patrick Reed and Alex Noren competing at the Lake Karrinyup Country Club.

Free parking will be available for patrons driving Subaru vehicles to the event as an extra bonus to fans.

Stephen Ayles, Chief Commercial Officer for the PGA of Australia extended his thanks to the car manufacturer for supporting the inaugural tournament.

“We’re delighted to be working with Subaru Australia in delivering a world class event to golf fans in Western Australia.” Ayles said.

“I’d also like to thank them for their generosity in providing a fleet of vehicles including the Levorg and Outback to ensure our international and interstate guests have peace of mind, travelling in safety and comfort to and from the ISPS HANDA World Super 6 Perth tournament each day.

“It’s fitting an event featuring some of the best players in the world attracts one of the leading car brands in the world, we look forward to continuing this partnership in to the future.”

Subaru lives by the values of imagination, spirit and quality and puts the customers at the heart of everything they do. Whether it’s travelling across the country, choosing your next car or booking a service, Subaru makes it fun and easy by removing obstacles for customers.

Part of Australia’s automotive scene since 1973, the range includes the multi-award winning Forester, Outback, Levorg, Impreza, Liberty, WRX, XV and BRZ.

They have achieved many firsts in the automotive industry; the first car company in Australia to achieve a 5-star ANCAP rating for occupant safety across the entire range, won 10 consecutive Australian Rally Championships, and even sold the first new car model exclusively online.

They also introduced mobile servicing vans and pop-up stores in shopping centres to bring convenience to customers.

Subaru Australia is the most recent partner to join the ISPS HANDA World Super 6 Perth after ISPS HANDA, Emirates, TAG Heuer, Pan Pacific Perth, West Cape Howe Wines, APN and Coates Hire also signed on in recent weeks with more to be announced in the lead up to the tournament.

The ISPS HANDA World Super 6 Perth will be played at Lake Karrinyup Country Club from 16-19 February and will form part of both the 2017 European Tour Race to Dubai and the ISPS HANDA PGA Tour of Australasia Order of Merit.
