SEEKING: Sport Administrator – Women’s Golf – Royal Sydney Golf Club

What will I be doing?
Reporting to the Sport Administration Manager your primary purpose is the administration, planning and coordination of Women’s Golf. Whilst the primary purpose of this role is Women’s Golf, at times when required you will be involved in assisting with the administration, planning and coordination for tennis, squash, lawn bowls, croquet and snooker.
This role is full time and you will be required to work weekends.
The key tasks include:
- Coordination of Sub-Committee meetings, preparing agendas and taking minutes
- Coordination of major events and ensuring that all aspects of the event, including food and beverage components are delivered at an extremely high standard
- Liaising with and supporting all areas of the Club in relation to sports administration
- Providing a high level of service for our members and their guests
- Preparing and delivering entry sheets, draws and results with accuracy
- Updating relevant sections of the Club’s website
- Meeting the operational needs of the business through flexible work practices
- All other ad-hoc duties required to successfully meet the requirements of sport administration for the Club
What does the Club need from me?
- A good understanding of the etiquette, rules and regulations of Golf
- A minimum of three years’ experience in sport administration
- A member focused outlook with a demonstrated passion for excellence in member service
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with key staff and members
- Intermediate to advanced Word and Excel skills and a strong knowledge of all Microsoft applications
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a professional attitude
- Strong time management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple events with competing deadlines and remain composed under pressures
- Experience in a Club or similar environment (Desirable)
