We are looking for an experienced hospitality manager to look after the areas of Beverage, Gaming and Functions in our medium sized golf club. The right person will be a “hands on” manager who likes to lead by example, and who has a professional and friendly demeanor to fit with the culture at our club. They will lead a small team of 5-6 casual staff and be willing to work at least one day each weekend to service the peak period of the club’s trade. The good news is that night work is rare and only required occasionally.

An innovative club, Carbrook Golf Club is well recognized within the golfing industry for and has just been awarded Queensland Club of the Year.  The successful person will be expected to use their knowledge and experience to manage and lead the team and create exceptional customer service, increase profitability as well as achieving compliance across the areas of liquor licensing, gaming and workplace health and safety.

You will be supported by the General Manager and it is vital that you are enthusiastic, innovative and enjoy responsibility in your role.

It is expected that the applicant will already hold the following:

• Minimum 5 years Hospitality Industry Experience
• Minimum 12 months in a management role
• RSA
• RSG

 
It will also be highly regarded should the person hold:

• Management Qualifications
• Functions/ Event Management Experience
• an interest in golf
• Club environment experience
• Gaming Machine Experience (the Club has 8 machines)

 
It is also expected that the applicant lives within a reasonable commute of the club and own transport is a requirement.
