GSM awarded Morack GC management contract
Golf Services Management (GSM) is pleased to announce that it has been successful in winning the contract tendered by the City of Whitehorse for the provision of the Management and Operation of the Morack Public Golf Course and Driving Range, located in Vermont South.
GSM has been providing golf operations at the venue since 2009 and has partnered the City of Whitehorse in overseeing many notable improvements including the upgrading of the driving range, improvements to course and extensions to the path systems. The tender for the Maintenance of Morack Golf course has been awarded to All Areas Turf Maintenance who currently has responsibility for delivery of turf services at Kingston Link Golf Course.
Throughout the next contract period of two years plus options, GSM is looking forward to working alongside All Areas Turf Management to present a high quality public venue as well as assisting Council in the planning of a proposed major redevelopment of the pro shop, clubhouse and driving range, construction of a mini golf facility as well as significant course improvements.
GSM’s CEO Ian Denny, stated that’s it’s been a busy and exciting year having reopened the Peregian Golf Course on the Sunshine Coast as a premier pay to play venue and completing the final stages of the rebranded Bay Views Golf Course on the Mornington Peninsula. Also underway is the construction of a state of the art golf academy, sports bar and driving range complex at the Ranfurlie Golf Course in Cranbourne
