SEEKING: Head Chef – Arundel Hills Country Club
Arundel Hills Country Club (AHCC) is home to a Fred Bolton designed 18 Hole Championship Golf Course, renowned for its picturesque layout, carved out of established native Australian flora and fauna. Featuring a grand Old World Charm Heritage style clubhouse, tranquil lakes, and beautifully manicured gardens and grounds, AHCC plays host to nationally recognised country club facilities.
Just 65km South of Brisbane, AHCC offers a well-stocked Golf Shop, driving range, conference, event, meeting and functions rooms & an Al Fresco Grille Restaurant & Bar.
Our Head Chef will drive the “engine room” of our business and enjoy a fast paced and friendly working environment that demands hands on leadership and professionalism.
Working closely with the Food & Beverage Manager, you will leverage your extensive experience and passion for food presentation and consistency expected by our members and public patrons alike.
Our business mix extends to our Grille Restaurant open 7 days for lunch, weekends for brekky and Friday and Saturday night for dinner, together with a diverse array of events, functions, weddings and corporate golf days all year round.
The key responsibilities of the role include;
- Consistently deliver benchmark food production
- Manage & leverage suppliers
- Design, cost & implement seasonal menu’s
- Work hand-in-hand with our Events Coordinator servicing profitable events
- Clear communication with our Front of House on a daily basis
- Complete accurate & timely monthly stocktakes
- Manage team mix to agreed revenue v’s wages ratios
- Ensure agreed COS budgets are achieved
- Ensure compliance with all OHS regulations
- Motivate & train your team
- Foster a culture of high performance standards
Relative experience in a Head Chef or Executive Chef role is a must.
Remuneration will commensurate with the incumbents experience.
