LAST WEEK SEEKING: Director of Golf – Arundel Hills Country Club
Just 65km South of Brisbane, AHCC offers a well-stocked Golf Shop, driving range, conference, event, meeting and functions rooms & an Al Fresco Grille Restaurant & Bar.
As a member of the club’s leadership team, you will have input on our future strategic shape and direction, but retain a keen eye for detail and enjoy a hands on approach to all facets of our golf operation activities.
Key responsibilities:
• Planning, execution and administration of all elements of all golf competitions, tournaments and corporate events.
• Course player management in conjunction with Match & Green Committee, to include speed of play and course usage analysis and management of all conduct, dress and etiquette standards.
• Engaging with our golf club members and guests ensuring we are meeting expectations.
To be successful in this role you will be:
• Must be a leader. Demonstrate strengths in interpersonal skills including the ability to lead, motivate and ensure our team are operating efficiently.
• Our members and guests are at the core of our business so a demonstrated focus on excelling at customer service is a must!
• Demonstrated track record of driving sales success.
• A genuine interest and/or passion in golf. Please note that working in the industry is not a prerequisite but having the drive to succeed and take our golf operations to the next level is.
• Personal attributes including solid work ethic, drive, and demonstrate ability to show initiative to improve processes and being a “people person” are key to this role.
A portion of your allocated shop time will allow you to give lessons as well as the ability to generate teaching income outside allocated shop hours.

The role will include working across a seven day roster with great conditions of employment including a rewarding conditions and salary package of which will be negotiated with the successful applicant.
The successful applicant for this position must be a PGA Member, ideally with a Certified status under the PGA’s ACE Program alongside also preferably being Advanced in a relevant ACE stream(Small Business, Coaching, Game Development, Management) as an indicator of engagement in ongoing training and development. The applicant must also have, or be willing to complete the PGA’s Workplace Training Program with the role requiring the indenturing of a PGA Trainee.
