SEEKING: Events Coordinator & Supervisor – Elanora Country Club
Elanora Country Club is a premier private Members Club located on Sydney’s Northern Beaches.
An exciting opportunity exists to join our dynamic Food and Beverage team as Events Coordinator & Supervisor. We are looking for a service superstar with strong Events & Administrative background as the Club has had extensive refurbishment which has reinvigorated our clubhouse and private events.
The main responsibilities of the role are:
- Provide effective hands-on leadership, supervision and control of functions and events
- Ensure that all food and beverage service is in accordance with the standards of the club
- Engage with members and ensure professional and efficient service with attention to detail
- Supervise food and beverage service in all areas of the club
- Encouraging participation in social and private activities/functions for Members
- Assist with the development of staff through the service training program
- Attend event related meetings and produce event sheets & planning documents
- Operations and Administrative focus
To be successful in this position you will:
- Have experience in a similar role; private Club experience an advantage
- Have initiative and passion with a strong work ethic
- Excellent presentation & communication skills
- Understand how to deliver impeccable customer service
- Have a positive attitude and “can do” approach
- Have a strong knowledge of food & beverage
- Be flexible to work evenings and weekends based on events
- Be able to control food & beverage costs
- Have good administration skills & sound computer literacy
