SEEKING: House Manager – Cranbourne Golf Club

POSTED ON November 30, 2017 @ 3:32 pm

A great opportunity exists for a motivated, passionate and charismatic professional to lead the F&B team & support the General Manager in Club operations. With a mixture of front and back of house duties, this role is largely focused around the selling and running of Functions, with exposure to golf & other club elements on a daily basis as well.

Cranbourne Golf Club is recognised as one of Victoria’s most outstanding Golf Clubs. It is an active, vibrant Club with modern Member and Function facilities, and prides itself on delivering a great experience to all Members and Guests, both on and off the Course.

The House Manager will be a strong presence around the Club, leading by example & quickly developing positive rapport with Members & staff whilst championing a welcoming and friendly ‘Club focused’ environment.
The role directly reports to the GM in this small team environment.

The successful applicant will possess the following attributes:-

  • A friendly, welcoming and positive personality
  • Drive & energy with a focus on customer service & detail
  • Experience in delivering exceptional events
  • Excellent computer skills and creative flair
  • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to multi task
  • A strong commitment & the desire to make a difference

This is the perfect opportunity for someone currently in a Functions Manager or similar role who is looking for greater scope and to progress their management career, by taking on a key role in this busy not-for-profit Club.

The role requires working nights and weekends and is not for those afraid to ‘roll up their sleeves’. Experience in the Golf Industry is a bonus, but not essential.

Only applicants who submit a tailored Cover Letter and CV will be considered for the role. All applicants will be treated in strict confidence and should be addressed to the General Manager, Cameron Mott on cmott@cranbournegolf.com.au
