SEEKING: Assistant Professional/Golf Operations Assistant – Northbridge Golf Club

Northbridge Golf Club is located with a harbour frontage 15 minutes drive from the Sydney CBD on Sydney’s lower north shore.

Northbridge is a challenging group 2 golf course with a par of 64 and over 800 golfing members.

Head Professional Nathan Stubbs wishes to appoint a Full Time outgoing Assistant Professional/Golf Operations Assistant to assist with the day to day operations of the Pro Shop. The role would entail 38 shop hours per week (including weekends). The successful applicant must be dedicated, enthusiastic and experienced in teaching and golf services, whilst providing the ultimate in customer service.

This position is suited for PGA members and non PGA members (PGA Member would have access to lessons outside of the shop hours), however candidates with a genuine passion for the golf industry will be highly regarded.

Essential Requirements:

Proven teaching track record and working knowledge of golf services
Previous retail and/or sales experience
Proven commitment to customer service excellence
Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with external and internal customers
Ability to work well as part of a team and with minimal supervision
Flexibility and focus on work due to a seven day operational business
A positive, cheerful and helpful approach, with the ability to work under pressure to meet customer expectations
Proven time management and organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines
Possess a “can do” attitude
Keen eye for detail
