2020 Whole of Golf Conference – Keynote Speakers announced

The New Zealand Golf Industry Council(NZGIC) is holding its inaugural Conference and Trade Show at the Ellerslie Event Centre, Auckland from Monday 3 August to Wednesday 5 August 2020 in a conjoint arrangement with its constituent bodies New Zealand Golf, the Professional Golf Association of New Zealand, The Golf Managers Association of New Zealand, the Golf Course Superintendents Association of New Zealand, The New Zealand Sporting Goods Association – golf sector and the New Zealand Golf Tourism sector and we would like to extend an invite to you as a valuable supplier to the golf industry to participate in this event.

The conferences will bring together golf professionals, club managers and administrators, course superintendents, golf retailers and wholesalers and machinery equipment and course grass and chemical suppliers from all over New Zealand together for the first time. Delegates will be able to network amongst their peers and to take in presentations by experts in fields including several overseas experts relevant to the golf industry and to view the latest developments in club management and operations.

The Conference based around a theme of Coordinate – > Collaborate – > Communicate is designed to bring together all sectors of the golf industry.

Previous golf conferences have dealt with papers around the issues that we are faced with and some that we are still experiencing. This conference recognizes this, but there is a need is to move forward together.

Objective

The number one objective of the New Zealand Golf Industry Council (NZGIC) Conference is to provide opportunities to all attendees to share and disseminate information about new innovations, concepts, research and best practices happening within the golf industry. It will also provide delegates and exhibitors the opportunity to network amongst our New Zealand and international domiciled peers.
