Suspicious fire damages Blacktown golf club

A FIRE damaged Ashlar Golf Club in Blacktown this morning.

 

Police and firefighters rushed to the scene in Springfield Avenue at about 2.20am, to find the club house well alight.

 

After firefighters extinguished the blaze, police established a crime scene and close Springfield Avenue for several hours.

 

The full extent of the damage is not yet known.

 

Anyone with any information about the fire is urged to contact Blacktown police on 9671 9199 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
