POSTED ON August 22, 2026 @ 10:58 am

MELBOURNE, Australia (August 21, 2026) — Australian retailer The House of Golf Retail Group has signed a five-year exclusive distribution agreement with U.S.-based DICK’S Sporting Goods. The partnership makes The House of Golf the sole Australian distributor and retail partner for two DICK’S-owned golf brands: Maxfli and Top Flite.

Under the terms of the deal, The House of Golf will manage distribution, marketing, and retail operations for both brands across its brick-and-mortar store network and online platforms in Australia. Products are scheduled to roll out to Australian consumers beginning in October 2026.

Strategic Focus and Initial Product Rollout

The rollout will initially highlight the Maxfli Tour line of golf balls, with plans to expand the product selection over time to include additional balls, equipment, and accessories from both brands.

Maxfli brings a century-long background in manufacturing premium tour-quality golf equipment, while Top Flite focuses on accessible, value-oriented equipment and accessories for golfers of all skill levels.

Executive Statements

Leadership from both companies commented on the significance of the distribution agreement for the Australian golf market:

“This is an incredibly exciting milestone for The House of Golf,” said Michael Button, CEO and Co-owner of The House of Golf Retail Group. “Partnering with DICK’S to bring Maxfli and Top Flite to Australian golfers is a huge win for our customers. These are iconic brands with a rich history and proven performance, and we’re proud to be the home for them in Australia. This reinforces our commitment to offering golfers the very best in equipment, innovation and value.”

“We’re excited to welcome The House of Golf as our exclusive Australian distributor of Maxfli and Top Flite products,” said Ed Stack, Executive Chairman of DICK’S Sporting Goods. “This partnership marks an important step in expanding access to these brands while celebrating Maxfli’s rich history in Australia.”
