Pacific Dunes is pleased to announce construction of our new $3million Country Club is complete, with doors to open Tuesday 1st March 2016.

Pacific Dunes is a golfing and residential estate ranked #54 in Australia by Australian Golf Digest.

The completion of the highly-anticipated new venue offers a modern facility for members, residents and the public to enjoy fresh & seasonal breakfast, lunch & dinner menus, a bar, 200 seat event venue and a new Golf Shop.

New restaurant, The Greenhouse, is contained within the purpose-built venue and will offer seasonal fresh food. Ingredients for The Greenhouse’s seasonal menu are sourced straight from the kitchen garden and from locally based farmers & fishermen.

The variety of both indoor and outdoor dining locations (expertly designed to be family friendly) ensures all customers enjoy their experience – whether popping in for coffee, ordering a take-away lunch, catching-up with friends, entertaining the family or having ‘date night’. For further information and contact details for The Greenhouse, visit www.greenhouseeatery.com.au

With a number of large golf events, weddings and private functions already booked for 2016, the new venue will serve as the perfect solution for formal and corporate events (accommodating up to 200 guests).

The Country Club is also one of the most environmentally-sustainable buildings in the Port Stephens region.

The environmentally sustainable design features of the building are designed to significantly reduce energy consumption and long term operational costs of the facility.

  • The building air conditioning system is incorporating a geothermal heat pump system, involving the use of 80m deep bores, that will deliver an approximately 60% saving in energy use compared to conventional systems
  • Pool heating and hot water for the building is also linked to the geothermal system for increased energy efficiency
  • A 30kW Solar photovoltaic system linked to an onsite energy storage system is being utilised to offset building energy usage
  • Energy efficient lighting
  • Increased wall and roof/ceiling insulation
  • The use of high performance glazing systems
  • The use of efficient fixtures and fittings to reduce water consumption.
  • Passive solar design features including appropriate orientation,

    shading and cross-flow ventilation
