A $3 million upgrade now on course at The Grange Golf Club
Planning is underway for a $3 million upgrade of the course at The Grange Golf Club after a positive response to $5 million recently being spent on the clubhouse at Kembla Grange.
Wollongong Lord Mayor Councillor Gordon Bradbery was among the special guests at the official opening of the new clubhouse on Wednesday.
After seeing the new state-of-the art event facility targeting more weddings, conferences and business events Cr Bradbery heard about progress on the next stage of work about to be undertaken by amalgamated partner Dapto Leagues Club.
He said after hearing about and seeing such investment in Wollongong he could be tempted to get into the swing of things and take some golfing lessons himself.
