epar (RTO41407) is delivering a Certificate IV in Leadership and Management (BSB42015)specific to the turf industry in a series of workshops in Sydney and Melbourne over winter in 2016. With case studies and role plays targeted at the issues facing senior turf staff, the qualification is nationally accredited and has been designed in line with feedback provided by hundreds of Australian turf professionals.

With the increasing pressures facing the turf industry, further skills surrounding communication, team leadership and the integration of technology into the workplace can help turn a manager into a leader. Effective leadership can be the determining factor between a course or facility that constantly struggles and one that really sets a benchmark.

The only turf specific leadership qualification in the country, this is a great opportunity for those looking to bolster their current skill set, increase their value and performance and those looking to take the next step in the industry.

The course has been designed to work with the industry with only seven workshop days face-to-face, spread over July, August and September in 2016. The Certificate IV assessments are completed primarily in the workshops with only small amounts of ‘take home’ materials to complete.

The qualification includes epar Professional Certification (comprising of three Units of Competency surrounding Risk Management, Environmental Management and Workplace Safety).

Discounts are available for epar Members and some turf industry Association Members.
