Cobra Puma has confirmed its support for golf in Australia by expanding their partnership with the PGA of Australia.

Over the next three years, Cobra Puma will support the association as a whole by becoming the Official Uniform Partner of the PGA, Official Apparel Partner for the Australian PGA Championship and developing exclusive Australian PGA Championship merchandise and staff apparel.

To further invest in junior talent, the Kids Day at the Australian PGA Championship will become Orange Crush Kids Day.

“Cobra Puma are renowned for their innovative, fresh and youthful approach to golf and we are thrilled to align with them as our merchandise partner,” said Brian Thorburn, CEO of the PGA of Australia.

“I look forward to the fresh new look they will bring to the PGA of Australia and Australian PGA Championship.”

This extends the relationship between Cobra Puma Golf and the PGA; the youth orientated company having assisted, for the past two years, the next generation of Aussie Tour Pros via the ISPS HANDA PGA Tour of Australasia Qualifying School presented by Cobra Puma Golf.

“Cobra Puma have shown their dedication to golf in Australia and this extension of our partnership demonstrates their long-term commitment to the growth and promotion of golf.”

Cobra Puma have an established connection to the golf industry in both Australia and New Zealand and believe PGA Professionals are the cornerstones of the game.

“Cobra Puma Golf are dedicated to supporting golf at all levels; from the amateur game to tournaments and the risings stars on the Tour,” said Christian Pegrum, Head of Golf at Cobra Puma.

“PGA Professionals are the driving force behind grass roots golf in Australia and the expansion of our relationship with the PGA of Australia is in recognition of the important role Professionals play within the industry.”

“This extended partnership is a further step in our support of the entire Australian golf community.”

Cobra Puma Golf also supports the CCA Invitational, an industry event for PGA Professionals and General Managers, which incorporates retail development sessions to assist golf clubs to grow their businesses.

The Australian PGA Championship will take place at RACV Royal Pines from December 1-4. Cobra Puma Orange Crush Kids Day will be held on Tuesday 29 November. Further information will be made available at pgachampionship.com.au.
