epar and GMA join forces with a new national partnership

POSTED ON June 19, 2019 @ 8:11 am

GMA is delighted to announce that environmental health and safety juggernaut epar has officially signed on as a national partner of GMA for the next two years, under GMA’s new management model.

While epar has been a partner of GMA (nationally), GMV and GMA NSW for many years, this partnership will see epar have a national presence across the association.

With epar’s position as a leader within environmental health and safety in the golf industry unsurpassed, GMA Executive Officer Jim Cail was thrilled to enter into an agreement with epar, which will see the organisation support the GMA membership over the coming years.  This support will include newly developed health and safety resources that will be made available to GMA members via the GMA resource library and a free environment and safety support service hotline developed by epar that we will also be made available to the GMA membership.

Furthermore, epar will support the membership via educational health and safety presentations within selected state business meetings and will have a strong presence at the 2019 GMA National Conference to be held in Melbourne in October.

Mr Cail said, “the partnership is such a natural fit for us, and will provide excellent outcomes for not only GMA, but also the membership through the tools and resources that will be made available to members by epar.”

Today’s announcement also comes at an exciting time for epar following its successful launch of Connect 2.0, golf’s first powerhouse compliance and sustainability app ecosystem.  Managing Director of epar, Terry Muir, said “the partnership with GMA underscores our commitment to the Australian golf and hospitality sector.  epar is rapidly increasing its national and global footprint through its Connect 2.0 ground-breaking innovation so this is the perfect time for us to explore how we can work together to assist General Managers meet, and where possible, exceed their environment, safety and sustainability goals”.

“We want to explore with every General Manager how we can best deliver and support a more integrated, cost effective and user-friendly compliance and sustainability solution.”

“The partnership with GMA multiplies our efforts to promote the Australian golf industry, and to elevate its profile as Australia’s leading sustainable sport and leisure activity.  Partnering with GMA and its members makes great sense as we both share many of the same values, including a shared passion for excellence and sustainability in golf club management” said Mr Muir.
