Extreme weekend weather at Blackwood Golf Club

Blackwood Golf Club in Adelaide Hills, SA, reportedly experienced some rough weather conditions over the last couple of days, causing damage to the otherwise pristine course.

According to the club’s newsletter, carts were banned from the course over the weekend due to what was referred to as the ‘wettest September ever’, with a downpour reaching a total of 260mls. This marks the 5th month of heaving rainfall in the area.

Trees on the course also took a beating, succumbing to the unprecedented wild weather.
