Immerse yourself in new ways of thinking – Golf Business Forum workshops

POSTED ON June 16, 2018 @ 3:17 pm

You know how it is. You’ve been doing the job for a while and everything seems to be going well but then you have that niggling feeling and questions start popping up in your head:

  • What could I be doing better?
  • Is it time to shake things up a bit?
  • Is there an easier way?

We’ve all been there, and rest assured that they’re definitely the right questions to be asking, especially in relation to Sales and Marketing at your golf facility – two jobs that are often under-resourced and under-estimated when it comes to skills development of you and your staff and their importance to your bottom line.

Remember that updating your expertise is not a one-off exercise at the start of your career – it’s time to make sure you are up to speed with the latest thinking and tools.

To that end, the day after the conclusion of the 2018 Golf Business Forum (Wednesday 1 August), the people behind the Forum have put together two immersive workshops which are right on topic and presented by recognised leaders in their fields.

Golf operators can sign up for either:

  • The Sales Workshop : Supported by presenting partners PGA of Australia and Titleist/Footjoy, this is an all-day workshop (including lunch) held at Sandhurst Club and run by Ian James, internationally recognised golf retail and sales expert.
  • The Marketing Workshop : A half-day workshop held at Latrobe Golf Club, facilitated by marketing guru John King of Golf Marketing University in the UK and supported by presenting partners Golf Australia and Golf Management Australia.

Tickets to the workshops are available to delegates of the Golf Business Forum and more information can be found on the website www.golfbusinessforum.com.au/workshops.
