Kelly Reynolds has been elected to the Board of Golf Australia.

Ms Reynolds is an award-winning entrepreneur and international senior executive leader with 25 years experience in human capital and technology consulting across global, multi-national and mid-cap clients in Resource, Mining, Energy and Utilities, Professional and Financial Services, FMCG, Healthcare and Education.

Andrew Newbold, Chair of Golf Australia, said Ms Reynold’s appointment had the unanimous support of the Nominations Committee and Board.

“It is an incredibly exciting time for golf and an opportune time to leverage the recent growth in the game.

“Kelly is an exceptional, strategic and pragmatic leader and we look forward to her contribution to Australian Golf as we continue to grow the game,” Newbold said.

“Complementing Kelly’s business acumen is her passion for diversity and inclusion, two key focus points as we aim to move the public perception of golf to better reflect the true nature of the sport.

“Golf is a game that can be played at any age, there is a format for everyone and the benefits are proven. Good health, good social connection and good fun.

“Kelly will help us bring these benefits to life and we are excited to have her on board,” said Newbold.

Ms Reynolds has led and advised boards on strategy development, capital markets – debt and equity, corporate governance, and risk management, ESG Design and Implementation, M&A pursuit, execution and integration, complex large-scale transformation and thrives on partnering with high growth innovative companies, with a focus on people and safety excellence.

Based in Perth, Ms Reynolds currently holds a number of advisory Board roles with an emphasis on Diversity Equity and Inclusion. She is currently Chair of Clough’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee, and an Advisory Board Member on the Boards of RC Insider Predictive Analytics and Harrison McMillan. Ms Reynolds is Managing Partner at Claritas & Partners.

A senior executive leader and innovator – supporting and advocating on key initiatives with the United Nations Sustainable Development Group, Mentor Walks and Women in Mining, Ms Reynolds is a Fellow of the Governance Institute of Australia, and a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD) and Institute of Executive Coaching & Leadership (IECL). She is undertaking a Masters in Organisational Design and Leadership from Charles Sturt University.

Golf Australia Board Members are nominated by a Nominations Committee in line with the Australian Sports Commission’s mandatory governance principles for National Sporting Organisations.
