The Sandy Creek Golf Club Classic is the Club’s most prestigious annual event, attracting players from across the state and country to the region to play on the premier golf course.

This year will see the calibre of this event grow even further, with the Peter Kittle Motor Company, voted South Australia and the Northern Territory’s number one Toyota dealer, putting up a brand new Toyota Hilux SR5 for a hole in one prize, and partnering with the Club as naming rights sponsor.

The Peter Kittle Motor Company Classic will be held from November 18th to 20th this year and is set to provide, not only a sensational golfing experience, but a fantastic range of events that can be enjoyed by the whole family – including a moonlight cinema screening on the fairway and a family fun day.

Peter Kittle Motor Company Chief Executive Officer Tom Kelly said, “We are very excited to be partnering with the Sandy Creek Golf Club for this event and supporting such a community minded club”. We attract many customers from the Gawler and Barossa areas, so we see this as a fantastic opportunity to give a little back”.

In addition to offering a brand new car as a hole in one prize the Peter Kittle Motor Company will also be offering players a complimentary drink on the 8th hole ‘to help settle the nerves before they take the shot of their lives’.

The opportunity to win a brand new Hilux SR5 will certainly create a fantastic atmosphere on the Club’s signature par 3 hole during the event. The picturesque hole plays 168m with a short carry across water, meaning any player is a chance of winning the coveted prize with a single well-executed (or perhaps not so well executed) shot.

Sandy Creek Golf Club General Manager David Rice said, “It’s fantastic to have such an established and hi-calibre South Australian business partner with us for our major event of the year. The support of Peter Kittle Motor Company will allow us to expand our offering and put on a fantastic event that can be enjoyed by the wider community, while also providing a great drawcard for visitors to the region”.

The Peter Kittle Motor Company Classic will kick off at the Sandy Creek Golf Club on Friday November 18th with one of their famous “Nine & Swine” twilight Ambrose events, followed by a full weekend of celebrations. However, if you’re keen to get a bit of practice in prior, particular on the 8th hole, the Club warmly welcomes visitors.
