Robb Report Hails Luxurious Lang Co Resort

POSTED ON September 29, 2018 @ 10:00 am

Laguna Lăng Cô Resort’s excellence has been acknowledged once again, after being named as one of the ‘Robb Report’ Top Four luxury resorts in Vietnam.

Being recognised for its quality is testament to the Banyan Tree Group’s commitment to deliver Vietnam’s most desired golf experience.

The complex is comprised of the Banyan Tree Hotel and the Banyan Tree Residences, the beachfront Angsana Hotel, two award-winning spas, and premium Laguna Park townhome residences which decorate an 18-hole course, sculpted by Faldo Design, an Associate Business Member of the Asian Golf Industry Federation.

Wherever you stay, you are always within walking distance of the golf course, making it a truly luxurious seaside golf lifestyle.

All rooms at Banyan Tree Lang Co are villas with private pools, located by the beach, surrounding a lagoon or on a hill overlooking the bay, with each property providing absolute privacy and tranquillity to visitors.

Sir Nick Faldo, who spends over a week in one of the Banyan Tree Residences hill villas each year, said: “I enjoy it here. The quality of life here is pretty darn good. I’ve got a beautiful villa on top of the rocks up there, you’ve got the spa appointments and you can come here and switch off.”

The villas in their equally spectacular backdrops are currently available for purchase, with long-term golf memberships being reserved for property owners only. Furthermore, members of the spectacular resort can enjoy reciprocal privileges with IMG Prestige; providing opportunities for property owners to play golf at some of the world’s best courses.

Laguna Lăng Cô’s reputation has grown rapidly over the past five years, with a steady increase in avid golfers visiting the complex in search of a unique golf experience. This reflects the combination of an outstanding golf course that is impeccably maintained with world-class service and facilities. The practice facilities are extensive and are among the best in Vietnam, with further developments on-going.

Additionally, the floodlit Golf Driving Range has music and drinks can be enjoyed by the outdoor fireplace, producing a fun and vibrant atmosphere enjoyed by golfers and non-golfers alike.

Thanks to six-time Major champion Faldo, and his on-going involvement, the golf course is continually improving. When asked about his personal interest, Faldo, said: “I started coming back for all sorts of reasons. Either to do something business-wise here and then we kept coming back for the golf and then we brought the Faldo Series here, so I’ve been coming back to this location almost twice a year for about six or seven years and we can keep adjusting the golf course. Keep fine-tuning. We’ve learned a lot and I’m enjoying doing more.”

Adam Calver, Director of Golf for Laguna Golf Lang Co, said: “Being the only golf resort to be listed in the Robb Report – Top Four Luxury Resorts in Vietnam is truly outstanding. We pride ourselves in providing all of our guests with a truly memorable experience and being able to extend that experience to avid golfers visiting our resort is what the Laguna lifestyle is all about.

“Our Banyan Tree Residence are perfect for those looking to invest in the good life, our seaside resort provides our guests and residences with a luxury experience that is hard to leave behind.”

Laguna Golf Lăng Cô, hailed as one of Faldo’s greatest designs, has been named Vietnam’s ‘Most Environmentally Friendly Golf Course’ and home to the only golf course in Vietnam to be Earth Check Silver Certified.
