Roxy Pacific’s Octavia Development Embraces Killara Golf Course
Sydney’s exclusive North Shore suburb of Killara is home to Roxy Pacific’s newest development, Octavia, which offers buyers the chance to purchase one of 43 apartments across two buildings backing onto a championship golf course with vistas of lush rolling lawn.
Once completed, the six-storey project on 6-8A Buckingham Street Killara will include one, two and three bedroom dwellings ranging from $758,000 for a one-bedroom apartment occupying a minimum of 64 square metres. Three bedroom apartments are priced from $1.3 million and capture a maximum of 115 square metres.
The project’s strategic use of floor to ceiling windows take full advantage of views to highly acclaimed Killara Golf Course, which has been home to golfers since September 1899 after being developed from farmland.
Killara Golf Club became known in Australia as the first golf club to own its own land. The Killara versus Newcastle golf match (The Rankin Cup) is the oldest continuously held golf interclub event in the world, and was first played in 1907.
Benjamin Hopkins, director of developer Roxy Pacific Investments, described the area to Domain as an “exclusive enclave of Sydney’s tightly held North Shore”.
“Residents will have proximity to everything within a secluded and private location,” Hopkins said.
Scheduled for completion in late 2017, Octavia’s sales display is open on Saturday and Sunday from 2pm until 4pm.
