SEEKING: Assistant General Manager – Barnbougle Resort
Barnbougle is seeking a dynamic and driven Assistant General Manager to join the team. The successful candidate will be a key member of the management team reporting to the Director/General Manager of this family owned business. The facility includes:
- Two-world top 50 golf courses as voted by US Golf Digest
- Luxury Lost Farm Lodge
- Cottage and Villa accommodation at the Dunes
- Two restaurants
- Sportsbar
- Day Spa
Responsibilities of the role will include (but not limited to):
- hire, train and manage staff
- apply strategic planning
- plan and implement procedures and systems to maximize operating efficiency
- establish and maintain controls
- formulate department policies and procedures
- review performance data to monitor and measure productivity, goal progress and activity levels
The right candidate will have:
- recent and relevant experience in hospitality management;
- extremely sharp attention to detail;
- highly developed verbal and written communication skills
- strong interpersonal skills and sense of humour
