SEEKING: Bookkeeper/Accounts Assistant – Parkwood International

Parkwood Village is a privately owned golf and hospitality venue incorporating golf, mini-golf, indoor golf simulators, restaurant/bar, busy function facilities and tenanted buildings.

We require an experienced, motivated bookkeeper/accounts assistant on a casual basis (apx 20hrs/week flexible).   Based at Parkwood on the Gold Coast, the successful candidate will assist with all aspects of bookkeeping from data entry, creditor and debtor reconciliations, creditor payments, cash handling, bank and account reconciliations and provide administrative assistance to departmental managers and support to the CFO.  Assistance with incoming calls and emails and holiday relief for payroll may also be required.

Experience of accounting needs in a hospitality or functions environment and Micropower software would be well regarded.

Required Experience and Abilities:

  • Solid experience including general ledger reconciliations, accounts payable & accounts receivables in a corporate environment
  • Bank reconciliations and understanding of cash flow requirements
  • Exceptional organisational, interpersonal & time management skills
  • Ability to work well in a fast paced dynamic team
  • High level of communication & computer skills
  • Demonstrated ability to take prioritise and take ownership of work & to provide attention to detail & accuracy
