SEEKING: Casual Chef – Sanctuary Cove Golf and Country Club

Sanctuary Cove is acclaimed worldwide as an international resort of excellence. Since opening in 1987, Australia’s first fully integrated resort has offered magnificent community facilities and a superb lifestyle conveniently located for travel from Surfers Paradise and Brisbane.

Position Summary
An exciting career opportunity exists for a Chef to join the Food and Beverage team at Sanctuary Cove Golf and Country Club in a casual role with a minimum of 20 hours per week. As a Qualified Chef you will be assisting in the food preparation for multiple events and functions, as well as for the daily lunch and dinner trade.

 

 

The successful applicant will be a confident, motivated individual, able to perform well autonomously and in a team, with the following essential criteria:

  • Trade cooking qualifications with a minimum of three (3) years’ experience including function experience
  • Ability to work in all areas of the kitchen
  • Demonstrate excellent attention to detail and an uncompromising attitude towards high quality food and presentation
  • Possess strong communication skills
  • Possess an understanding of food safety requirements and standards for maintaining a safe and hygienic kitchen environment
  • Availability to work as part of a seven-day roster
  • Current, valid Queensland driver’s license
