Position Summary
An exciting career opportunity exists for a Chef to join the Food and Beverage team at Sanctuary Cove Golf and Country Club in a casual role with a minimum of 20 hours per week. As a Qualified Chef you will be assisting in the food preparation for multiple events and functions, as well as for the daily lunch and dinner trade.
The successful applicant will be a confident, motivated individual, able to perform well autonomously and in a team, with the following essential criteria:
- Trade cooking qualifications with a minimum of three (3) years’ experience including function experience
- Ability to work in all areas of the kitchen
- Demonstrate excellent attention to detail and an uncompromising attitude towards high quality food and presentation
- Possess strong communication skills
- Possess an understanding of food safety requirements and standards for maintaining a safe and hygienic kitchen environment
- Availability to work as part of a seven-day roster
- Current, valid Queensland driver’s license
