SEEKING: Chief Executive Officer – Indooroopilly Golf Club

lndooroopilly Golf Club is an iconic golf club that delivers an exceptional, yet traditional golfing experience. The club offers 36 holes of championship golf, just 10 minutes from the heart of Brisbane.

The club presents members, guests and visitors a combination of state of the art golf, functions, weddings, events and restaurant and bar facilities all at one great location.

About the Role:

Reporting to the Board, you will manage all aspects of the club including a staff headcount of approximately 100 people. As the CEO, you will design and deliver the clubs future strategic plan, accelerate business growth and take lndooroopilly Golf Club to the next level with customer experience.

Separate to overseeing two championship golf courses, you will be accountable for driving revenue growth through retaining and attracting members, increasing the clubs profile in the corporate golf, seminar and wedding segments, improving the total food and beverage offering and achieving a high utilisation rate of the clubhouse facilities.

About You:

To be considered for this role, you must have exceptional strategic leadership, business acumen, negotiation and interpersonal skills. You will possess significant experience in leading a club (golf or alternative sports / leisure facility) and / or you will have an intimate knowledge of managing a high profile, customer centric tourism, leisure or hospitality destination. It is not essential to have worked within the golfing industry, but it is important you have a healthy understanding and passion for the sport.
