SEEKING: Digital and Social Media Coordinator – Golf Link Partners

The MPower Golf business unit is devoted entirely to the golfing industry and is a one-stop-shop combining our market leading products from GOLF Link Partners, iSeekGolf, Golf Computer Systems (GCS), Scandinavian-based GolfBox and Micropower.

This position is responsible for the successful coordination of MPower Golf’s social media functions in an engaging, informative, timely and results driven manner.  The position also supports the Marketing and Content teams in driving audience interaction and consumption of video and editorial content, engagement with the Genesis Golf link Cup and tee time sales through iSeek Golf.

 

 

Duties include:

  • Coordination of MPower Golf’s social media channels.
  • Develop and deliver engaging and creative content across all social media channels.
  • Assist with the posting of up to date and relevant content across the websites. Creating and curating content, both video and editorial, as required
  • Driving growth in engagement across the Genesis Golf Link Cup, Australia’s most popular virtual golf event.
  • Using social and digital channels to promote tee time sales across Australia’s No 1 tee time site iseekgolf.com.

 
To be considered for this role, you must have proven experience in the following areas:

  • Demonstrated experience in coordinating multiple social media channels.
  • Demonstrated ability to write in multiple tones of voice, and understand the importance of cultivating audience engagement
  • Excellent verbal and written skills across all online and social media channels
  • Proven experience in delivering social media strategies
  • An understanding of the golf sector in Australia
  • Ability to manage advertising campaigns for clients
  • Experience in producing reports and working in Excel

 
Applicants should address the following skills in their application:

  • Demonstrated knowledge of Social media analytics
  • Knowledge of paid campaigns a plus
  • Working knowledge of Adobe creative suite (Photoshop specifically)
  • Impressive presentation and communication skills
  • Able to multi-task and work across several projects
  • Use initiative and proactively contribute ideas, and propose content opportunities to further engage audiences.
  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • Confidence in HTML to edit provided content blocks, and produce simple code blocks.
  • Exposure to video editing platforms
