Home to a Fred Bolton designed 18 Hole Championship Golf Course, Arundel Hills Country Club (AHCC) is renowned for its picturesque layout, carved out of established native Australian flora and fauna. Featuring a grand Heritage style clubhouse, tranquil lakes, and beautifully manicured gardens and grounds, AHCC plays host to nationally celebrated country club facilities.
Centrally located on the Gold Coast just 65km from the Brisbane CBD, AHCC offers a suite of amenities including a well-stocked Golf Shop, driving range, elaborate locker rooms, meeting and functions rooms & an Al Fresco Restaurant & Bar.
Under New Ownership & Management since May 2016, over $400k of immediate capital improvements has been invested into the golf course and club operations, optimising the facilities key assets and providing the incumbent with a premium facility to proudly call their own.
The Director of Golf & Commercial will facilitate outstanding member relations, become the face for all golf centric activity at our club and deliver on our strategic golf revenue mix targets forward across all related markets.
As a Senior Team Leader in our business, you will benchmark and represent professional standards of service, as the spearhead of our golf operations team.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to;
- The facilitation of our traditional 5 & 7 day member services, to KPI’s relating to the retention, growth and the surveyed satisfaction of our membership base
- The day-to-day management, oversight and rostering of our golf operations department
- Developing commercial & corporate partnerships for mutual gains
- Group, event & tour operator golf sales generation (member only tee-times apply)
- The setting of strategic golf metrics & the delivery of associated golf sales action plans
- Daily golf course set-up & appraisal, working closely with the Golf Course Superintendent to deliver a quality golfing experience
- Ownership of our online golf rounds inventory yield management
- Provide relative social media engagement content to promote our club
- Website maintenance and collateral design (as required)
- Attendance to networking, community and industry functions
- Develop, promote & host corporate golf & member based events
Weekend work will be required, meeting the premium member services focus of our golf business.
The remuneration will comprise a competitive base salary and generous Performance Incentive Scheme (PIS), rewarding the incumbent’s material contributions to our club’s future sustainability.
