Position Summary
An exciting career opportunity exists for a Food and Beverage Coordinator to join the Food and Beverage team at Sanctuary Cove Golf and Country Club in a permanent role for 20 hours per week.The Food and Beverage Coordinator will be responsible for providing administration support in the Food and Beverage Department. This administrative role is crucial to the Food and Beverage Departments success and forms an integral part of the team. The requirements of the role include:

• Managing an events schedule
• Development of strong relationships with stakeholders
• Ensure the complete administration and execution of all planned events
• Coordinating staff availability
• Completing roster requirements and distributing to the F & B Department
• Assist the Head Chef and Duty Managers to complete administrative tasks such as:

 
-Menu rollout
-Promotion and specials
-Developing POS systems
-Forecasting Data Entry

 
Develop documentation and ensuring brand standards are maintained
It would be advantageous in this position, to demonstrate capability, if the applicant has:

• Held a similar position previously within a hotel, golf club or conference facility
• Be in the process of completing tertiary studies in the field of Hospitality/Event Management

 
The successful applicant will need to demonstrate the following criteria:

• Exceptional attention to detail and time management
• Work effectively as a member of a team
• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate with people at all levels
• A strong understanding of operational procedures and branding
• A solid working knowledge and understanding of WPHS
• Maintain a current drivers licence
• Current RSA
