SEEKING: Golf Club Manager – Denarau Golf & Racquet Club
We have a vacancy for Golf Club Manager at the Denarau Golf & Racquet Club.
Denarau Golf & Racquet Club’s championship resort style golf course is designed around extensive tidal waterways with water challenges on 15 of the 18 holes. Breathtaking views of the South Pacific, a sea of coconut palms and the scent of hibiscus create an idyllic Fijian atmosphere. Other club facilities include 4x turf tennis courts, 4x grass tennis courts, and busy bar & restaurant.
The golf course is operated alongside the Sheraton & Westin Resorts in Denarau and the position reports directly into the Managing Director of the hotel complex which includes over 600 rooms in Denarau.
Key responsibilities of the Golf Club Manager role include:
- Day to day control and running of all areas of the clubs operations
- Business operations and financial reporting
- Member, staff, committee & supplier relations
- Coordinating local tournaments and international golf groups
- Business development; membership base, tournaments, and international golf groups
- Implementation of improved tee time and membership processes and procedures
- Preparation and presentation of the annual business plan
The role will work alongside the golf course superintendent to ensure the course condition of a high standard and general facilities are appropriately maintained. For this role we are looking for a professional individual who has genuine interest in golf, and possess a golf course or facilities management qualification. While experience would be preferred we are willing to work with the right candidate to
grow and develop in a career in facilities management.
