SEEKING: Golf Course Groundsman – Wolston Park Golf Club
Wolston Park Golf Club is seeking to appoint a Golf Course Groundsman with a minimum 12 months experience working on a golf course, from whipper snipping to mowing of greens.
Wolston Park Golf Club is located 20 km from the center Brisbane, near the newly developed Springfield/Augustine heights area with access to the Ipswich area, The weather is sunny with average temperatures in the high thirty’s during November – March with it dropping to low thirty’s from May- August.
The club possesses a 18 hole golf course located on the Brisbane river as well as practice putting and chipping green, a hitting area for members to practice their long game.
The successful applicant will possess:
- Experience in operating all turf equipment
- Attention to detail
- Knowledge of OH&S
- Chemical application license/spraying experience (desirable)
- Skid steer loader license (desirable)
- Irrigation maintence experience and advantage
Employment will be full-time (38 hours per week) and include rostered weekend overtime.
