SEEKING: Golf & Operations Manager – Headland Golf Club
The multi award winning Headland Golf Club is located at Buderim on the beautiful Sunshine Coast.

A unique opportunity is available to join our senior management team as our Golf & Operations Manager. But we need a candidate with a mix of the right experience, a passion for golf and for our Club Members.
The Golf & Operations Manager’s major responsibility is to oversee all matters relating to club golf and to provide support to the General Manager in carrying out all tasks of club operation. The Golf & Operations Manager is an integral member of the Club’s senior management team and as such takes responsibility for the management of all aspects of club golf, delivering customer service excellence that consistently exceeds member and guest expectations.
A strong understanding of golf is a must, including competition and timesheet management, rules, and policies and procedures. In addition, a passion for golf is highly desirable. A high level of computer literacy particular in the Windows environment is a requirement. Previous experience with the MiClub and/or Infotel programs would be advantageous.
Exceptional communication skills alongside a high level of customer service and the ability to relate to a diverse group of people are essential, as are holding RSA and RSG Statement of Attainments and a Queensland Government Blue Card. No other mandatory educational qualifications are required for this position, however relevant certificates in related courses are desirable.
Previous experience within an office environment and in golf administration would be a significant advantage, as would a sound understanding of financial and payroll systems.
Finally, availability to work weekends is a must.
