SEEKING: Hospitality Manager – Arundel Hills Country Club
Arundel Hills Country Club (AHCC), is home to a Fred Bolton designed 18 Hole Championship Golf Course, renowned for its picturesque layout, carved out of established native Australian flora and fauna. Featuring a grand Heritage style clubhouse, tranquil lakes, and beautifully manicured gardens and grounds, AHCC plays host to nationally recognised country club facilities.
Centrally located on the Gold Coast just 65km from the Brisbane CBD, AHCC offers a suite of amenities including a well-stocked Golf Shop, driving range, elaborate locker rooms, meeting and functions rooms & an Al Fresco Restaurant & Bar.
Under New Ownership & Management since May 2016, over $400k of immediate capital improvements has been invested into the golf course and club operations, optimising our facility and providing the incumbent with a premium venue to proudly call their own.
The Hospitality Manager will be charged with servicing our members, guests and public patrons with a “quality venue experience” at all times. Bearing exemplary customer service skills and leadership qualities, you will ensure your team enjoys a friendly and positive working environment, where an ethos of productivity and job satisfaction go hand in hand.
The key role responsibilities include, but are not limited to;
- Overall management & accountability for all food and beverage related activities
- The delivery of friendly, benchmarked and efficient service at all times
- Management of all wedding enquiries, familiarisations, bookings and the operational delivery
- Rostering, recruitment, training and regular feedback to your team to agreed KPI’s
- Ala carte restaurant management and “hands-on” operational involvement
- Supplier and contractor management
- Achievement of agreed labour and operating COS budgets, in-line with our business needs
- Due compliance across all health and safety regulations
- Management of software systems, POS systems, inventory and department cost control
Attention to detail a must, we seek a manager whom will facilitate a customer centric environment and “lead by example” in providing our valued members a hospitable service standard, every day.
A typical working week would require the incumbent to manage our peak hospitality needs from Wednesday to Sunday (ex-special events), though some flexibility would be provided on request.
The remuneration offered will comprise a competitive base salary, commensurate to the incumbent’s experience.
